HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love the cool crisp weather and the leaves turning colors. We have a small pear tree in our front yard that has leaves of gold, orange and red--beautiful!! Since the season of gratitude is upon us, I thought I would stamp something "fall-ish." Don't forget to give thanks during the Thanksgiving holiday--an attitude of gratitude is so important! My Digital Studio

Isn't this card pretty? It was made using the new My Digitial Studio from Stampin' Up! It's an easy to use digital paper crafting tool that you can use make cards, scrapbooks, dvds, etc. I never thought I would go digital with my scrapbooks, but I have made the leap. It is so easy and so much fun!

Welcome to my blog!

I have enjoyed the art of rubber stamping about 12 years and for 10 of those years I have been a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! I absolutely love to stamp and to share this wonderful hobby with all my girlfriends! Prior to stamping, I took some art classes, which taught me that I couldn't draw or paint. Then, I took some graphic art classes. I found graphic art very interesting, but I wasn't looking for a new career. When a friend introduced me to the art of rubber stamping, I was so excited, happy and relieved. Excited because I quickly realized the possibilities of rubber stamping are limitless. Happy and relieved because I didn't have to be an "artist" to be creative. I could pound some ink on a rubber stamp (designed by someone else) and slap it on a piece of cardstock. Instant gratification--instant happiness--smile!
